£80m Player Gives “Positive” Response About Joining Arsenal After Contact

Arsenal are “very, very” interested in adding another marquee name once they have completed agreements for Sporting attacker Viktor Gyokeres and Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera, and they have heard indications that he would be willing to come.

Mosquera will join Mikel Arteta’s side after Arsenal and Valencia reached an agreement on a total £17 million package, including add-ons, with the 21-year-old scheduled to undertake medical testing at London Colney on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Arsenal has reached an agreement in principle with Sporting for Gyokeres after what appears to be weeks of negotiations (David Ornstein), and both teams are thought to be finalizing the specifics presently.

As fans eagerly await any updates on the Swede, considering their team’s desperate need for a prolific striker, Arsenal are awaiting the “final green light” to sign off on one of the summer’s most significant transactions.

According to credible reports, Arsenal will next target a central playmaker, with Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze at the top of their list following conversations with the England international’s representation.

Arsenal are expected to formally approach Palace about signing Eze (talkSPORT), although they could yet recruit another winger despite previously signed Chelsea’s Noni Madueke, who can play on both the left and right and will compete with Bukayo Saka (Ben Jacobs).
