Mbeumo Transfer To Man United At Serious Risk Following New Development

Bryan Mbeumo possible move to Manchester United is reportedly at risk following Nottingham Forest’s new bid to sign Yoane Wissa from Brentford.

Mbeumo’s planned move to Old Trafford is now seriously doubtful because the Bees are unwilling to sell both of their best forwards this summer.

The Red Devils may have to move quickly to negotiate for the Cameroonian or go elsewhere.

United are still interested in recruiting Mbeumo this summer, and Brentford have already turned down two of their approaches.

The Cameroon international is highly valued by the Red Devils, who wanted to finalize a deal prior to their preseason tour of the United States.

A recent development, meanwhile, has the potential to thwart their intentions to include Mbeumo in Ruben Amorim’s team.

Man United Move For Mbeumo In Jeopardy

According to The Athletic as reported by Goal, Forest have made a new bid for Wissa in an attempt to replace departing winger Anthony Elanga.

Brentford are said to be hesitant to let go of Mbeumo and Wissa in the same summer. The Bees are  anticipated to either prevent Mbeumo from leaving for United or up his price if Wissa is sold.

Mbeumo’s market popularity was recently confirmed by Brentford director Phil Giles, who maintained that the club are not under any pressure to sell.

According to reports, Mbeumo is happy to stay for another year but is also open to a move to Old Trafford.

The London-based club  may expect even more than their current asking price of £63 million ($85 million) for Mbeumo given that Wissa is in talks to move.
