The new Los Blancos signing has quickly become a key player for the Spanish giants in the Club World Cup, recently registering his first assist in their 1-0 victory over Juventus.
The assist came from a perfectly delivered cross to Gonzalo Garcia, who scored the only goal of the match.
Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, praised Alexander-Arnold’s exceptional set-piece and crossing ability, calling him “horrible” and “a nightmare” in training—but in the best possible way.

Coach Xabi Alonso also expressed confidence in the English full-back, noting that while Alexander-Arnold still needs time to fully adjust, his crossing remains his trademark.
Alonso acknowledged that competing at Real Madrid takes time, but he believes the team will gain a reliable full-back in Trent.
Alexander-Arnold celebrated the win on Instagram, sharing pictures of his assist and the goal celebration, captioned “See you in the Quarters! Vamosss.”
His teammate Garcia responded, praising the quality of the ball with “What a ball.”
