Newcastle United defender, Kieran Trippier has reportedly announced separation from his wife following 10 years of being together.
According to the National World, the 34-year-old has finally confirmed that he separated from his wife Charlotte more than a year ago, despite wild speculation on the status of their marriage.
In a statement on his Instagram stories, Kieran said: “I have never commented on my private life but as the tabloids seem to want to continue writing false stories I feel I have no choice but to confirm publicly that myself and Charlotte separated over a year ago.”
Kieran Trippier went on to say that “I have not commented previously as it is a private matter and we want to protect our children, and would ask the media to respect our privacy in the same way.”

In 2016, Kieran Trippier wed Charlotte in Cyprus, and the two of them have three children: Jacob, born in December 2016, and Esme Rose, born in February 2020. In 2022, Charlotte gave birth to Isla, their third child, a daughter.
With 34.1K Instagram followers, Charlotte Trippier frequently posts pictures of her kids.
In February she shared a photograph of her daughter Esme in honour of her birthday and wrote: “Happy bday to my Esme Rose. The most precious little soul. Love you.”
Kieran Trippier, who has 1.5 million Instagram followers, posted a birthday greeting to his youngest daughter Isla three weeks ago. “My little princess turning 3 today!” he said beside a picture of his three kids.
“Happy birthday Isla daddy loves you so much.”
