Thomas Frank Set to Become Tottenham’s New Manager as Deal Nears Completion

Tottenham Hotspur is set to appoint Brentford boss Thomas Frank as their new manager, following Ange Postecoglou’s abrupt dismissal.

Postecoglou was sacked just 16 days after guiding Spurs to their first trophy in 17 years—a dramatic Europa League triumph.

Despite the silverware, Tottenham’s dismal Premier League campaign, which saw them narrowly avoid relegation, forced chairman Daniel Levy to act decisively.

Spurs finished with 22 losses in 38 games, prompting the board to unanimously conclude a managerial change was in the club’s best interest.

Frank has reportedly agreed in principle to join Spurs, with only financial negotiations with Brentford standing between him and the North London post.

He’s been lauded for transforming Brentford, guiding them to a fairytale Premier League promotion and solid mid-table finishes since taking over in 2018.

The Danish coach was previously linked to Manchester United but publicly praised Brentford’s leadership, culture, and values, emphasizing his happiness with the club.

Despite his loyalty, he admitted that a new challenge could offer inspiration, leaving the door open for a high-profile move like Spurs, reports Daily Star.

Should the deal be finalized, Frank will inherit a team in need of stability, direction, and renewed ambition for the upcoming campaign.
