Chelsea have reportedly confirmed that Cole Palmer will be wearing the no.10 jersey starting from the FIFA Club World Cup campaign.
Since joining Stamford Bridge from Premier League rivals Manchester City in a £40 million transfer two summers ago, the England forward has worn the number 20, swiftly establishing himself as a key player in west London.
According to The Evening Standard, Palmer will start at No. 10 for Chelsea starting this month at the Club World Cup in the United States, the club have now confirmed.
Mykhailo Mudryk, who tested positive for a prohibited substance while on international duty with Ukraine in October, still has a provisional football suspension.

As he awaits the outcome of a “B” sample, Mudryk, who denies any involvement, has not played for Chelsea since receiving that provisional ban in December.
Other players that have donned No. 10 at the Bridge in recent years include Christian Pulisic, Willian, Eden Hazard, and Juan Mata.
The No. 9 shirt, which has been unoccupied since Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left for Marseille in the summer of 2023, was also given to Liam Delap, Chelsea’s new £30 million acquisition, on Thursday.
Chelsea will be aiming to be the first club to win the newly- revamped Club World Cup and have a gold badge imprinted in their jersey over the next four years.
