Manchester City are reportedly growing in confidence over completing the signing of Wolves defender, Rayan Ait-Nouri before the start of the FIFA Club World Cup.
For more than a year, scouts at City have been admiring Wolves left back Ait-Nouri as they searched for reinforcements in that part of the field.
After an outstanding season at Molineux, the 23-year-old is now considered to have enough Premier League experience to make the move.
Ait-Nouri, who is renowned for his buccaneering style, finished the previous season with five goals and seven assists in 41 games.

The Algeria international’s contract with Wolves is set to expire in a year, but the club have the option to extend it.
However, according to the Daily Mail, City hope to finalize a deal as soon as possible before they go for the United States on June 12 for the Club World Cup.
As a result of Ait-Nouri being given priority, Josko Gvardiol will now be permanently assigned to the center of defense.
Before forming a strong defensive partnership with Ruben Dias, Gvardiol spent the most of his first 18 months at the Etihad Stadium on the left side.
Despite playing as a midfielder, Academy graduate Nico O’Reilly excelled in that role, and City are aware that they need long-term full back options this summer.
