Manchester United and Manchester City are reportedly set to launch a bid to sign Atalanta midfielder, Ederson, who has been on the watchlist of Juventus ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to TuttoSport, Juventus signed Teun Koopmeiners in the summer of last year as a result of their failure to bring the 25-year-old to Turin.
He is still their “old dream,” and they may try again during the summer transfer window. The persistent threat that United and City pose to their pursuit of the Brazil international is there.
According to Sport Witness, the two English powerhouses have already been able to “test the waters” with Atalanta for Ederson, and they will provide a “fierce” clash in the race to sign him.

According to the source, last summer, Atalanta turned down a €40 million approach from a Premier League outfit. Although it has been said that they are prepared to proceed, it is unclear if the Red Devils or the Cityzens made that offer.
Despite Premier League interest at the time, Juve are “intent” on beating the competition, and they are growing more confident after acquiring Koopmeiners last year.
It remains to be seen where Ederson will end up next season as both Manchester clubs are seeking to bolster their squad after an underwhelming campaign.
Juventus are also looking to strengthen their roster as their fight to win the Serie A title this season continues to dwindle.
