Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has come out on top of the 2023 TIME100 poll ahead of Lionel Messi, Prince Harry and others.
The poll was determined by readers who cast votes for the people or organizations they believed should be included in the magazine’s yearly list of the most influential people.
4 percent of the 1.2 million votes cast, according to the magazine, went to Shah Rukh.
With 3% of the vote, Iranian women who are demonstrating for their rights came in second.
The women also triumphed in the magazine’s 2022 Person of the Year reader poll.
Meanwhile, the healthcare professionals who have been on the front lines of the pandemic since 2020 came in third with 2% of the votes.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took the fourth spot, with each of them getting 1.9 percent of the votes. Harry made headlines around the world earlier this year after he released his memoir Spare. He opened up about his experiences as a member of the British royal family.
Footballer Lionel Messi took the fifth spot on the list with 1.8% of the votes.
Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release, Pathaan, has been a massive hit globally, earning over Rs 1000 crore across the world.
