Borussia Dortmund ‘Refusing To Negotiate On £133m Jude Bellingham Price Tag’

Borussia Dortmund reportedly have no intention of lowering their nine-figure asking price for valued midfielder Jude Bellingham.

The 19-year-old’s future is dominating transfer market chatter, with a slew of prominent European clubs vying for his signature.

Bellingham is still under contract with Dortmund until the summer of 2025, although it is expected that he will leave Edin Terzic’s side at the end of the season.

Liverpool and Real Madrid are seen to be leading the hunt for the England international, with the Reds gaining confidence in getting him to Anfield.

Real may bet on Bellingham sticking at Dortmund for another year before launching their bid in 2024 if Toni Kroos and Luka Modric stay.

Manchester United and Manchester City are also said to be monitoring the situation, and Dortmund are likely to be interested in a club-record fee to sell the teenager.

According to 90Min, BVB intend to stick to their €150m (£133.1m) asking price, which would beat their current record sale of Ousmane Dembele to Barcelona for £124.3m.

According to the report, Bellingham’s family and representatives are still in talks with potential suitors, but Dortmund are still hopeful of keeping him under certain conditions.

Dortmund are willing to make Him their highest-paid player in history in order to keep him until 2024, and any new contract would include a release clause.

Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Manchester City are said to believe that talks with Bellingham’s entourage are going well, with Los Blancos sending chief scout Juni Calafat to meet with his father in London on Tuesday.

Bellingham has 20 goals and 24 assists in 122 games for Dortmund, including 10 goals and six assists in 32 matches during the 2022-23 season.
