Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in talks to buy Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey, according to transfer guru Mike Brown.
The Lilywhites have been relatively quiet in the transfer window since naming Thomas Frank as the new manager to replace Ange Postecoglou.
Tottenham are apparently looking for a new wide forward and have been linked with Eberechi Eze, Antoine Semenyo, and Bryan Mbeumo. However, the Englishman is interested in joining Arsenal, while the Ghanaian has recently signed to a contract extension with AFC Bournemouth.
The Cameroonian, on the other hand, wants to join Manchester United, but the Red Devils have been unable to reach an agreement in principle with Brentford.
After failing to sign their top targets, Tottenham have been forced to sift through their wishlist and have now chosen Mohammed Kudus of West Ham United as the best option.
Brown, speaking on Football Insider, claims that Tottenham are also interested in Ramsey after following his development over the last few years.
