Tottenham Hotspur are out of the Champions League after losing in the round of 16 to Atletico Madrid, and despite drawing against Liverpool last weekend in the Premier League, their place in the league is in jeopardy.
Nonetheless, the board is preparing activity for the summer transfer window, and with a significant squad overhaul in the works, an offensive acquisition might be crucial for the Lilywhites, who have struggled to make an impact in the final third.

Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move for Borussia Dortmund forward Serhou Guirassy, according to German newspaper Bild, citing Dominic Solanke’s fitness concerns and Richarlison’s inconsistent form.
The Guinean international had an outstanding season with the Bundesliga giants last year and has continued to impress this year, scoring 17 goals and assisting six times across all competitions. On Transfermarkt, he is valued at an affordable £35 million.
Guirassy unlikely to join Spurs
Serhou Guirassy would be an excellent signing for Tottenham Hotspur during the summer transfer window, and his menace in the box would considerably improve their attacking capabilities, more than Dominic Solanke has done.
However, the club’s Premier League standing, combined with an unlikely qualification for any European tournament next season, may deter Guirassy from joining Spurs, as his skills will be in high demand this summer.
AC Milan is also interested in signing the 30-year-old, and with their good position in the Serie A standings and a Champions League berth on the edge of being secured, they could be the favourites to beat Tottenham to Guirassy’s signature.
