Sheikh Jassim Hopes To Sign Three Outstanding French Players

If Sheikh Jassim becomes the new owner of Manchester United, he hopes to sign three top-tier French players. The former Qatari heir apparent is eager to add Kylian Mbappe, Eduardo Camavinga, and Kingsley Coman to the Red Devils lineup for next season.

According to Sport Bild, Jassim’s top transfer target is Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe. The Frenchman’s contract expires in 2024, and he recently notified PSG that he will not exercise the one-year option on his current contract.

As a result, PSG may be compelled to sell in the summer in order to prevent him from going  free next year. He is apparently most interested in a move to Real Madrid, but may be swayed by the glamour of Premier League playing and the huge pay that Jassim will undoubtedly offer the player.

According to the report, Mbappe might be joined by two of his international teammates, Camavinga and Coman. Both players would come at a high cost, with contracts at Real Madrid and Bayern Munich expiring in 2027.

Jassim is competing with INEOS owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe to become the new owner of Manchester United, and has made at least four bids thus far. Ratcliffe was believed to have outbid Jassim in the race to buy the club from the Glazers in the third round of bidding.

Jassim, on the other hand, came out and said that his bid was worth more than INEOS’ because of additional investments. The Qatari deal to purchase the entire club apparently includes additional financing for the rebuilding of Old Trafford and the club’s Carrington training facility.
