However, fresh reports from Defensa Central imply that the French defender has made a step toward resolving his future, with a preliminary agreement in place to extend his stay at Liverpool.
While the agreement has yet to be officially finalized, the direction of travel is becoming evident, and it does not suit Real Madrid.
Interestingly, even before this current revelation, the Spanish giants had began to lose interest.
This was due to mounting reservations about Konate’s fit with the club’s long-term vision.
Why is that?
Despite his physical presence and elite expertise, questions were raised about his consistency and ability to handle high-pressure circumstances.
These reservations contributed to an understanding of the club’s perspective.
