In a major development yesterday night, the Spanish national team officially declared that Real Madrid player Dean Huijsen will be released from the national team camp immediately.
The decision was made in light of the player’s muscle discomfort and physical setback, which kept him from playing in the team’s game against Georgia earlier this week.
“As required and prioritising the health and well-being of our player at all times, the RFEF has made the decision to release the player from NT camp,” according to an announcement.
Back in Madrid
Huijsen will now return to Madrid to continue his treatment at the Valdebebas, as per the latest developments.

Spain has one more game in the ongoing international break, against Turkey, but the defender will be unavailable due to his discharge from the camp. Reported by Reported on X.
In one way, Real Madrid will be glad that Huijsen was dismissed from the squad and not compelled to play despite his discomfort, since he will now have enough time to fully recuperate from his injury.
Needless to say, the drama demonstrates La Roja’s focus on player conditioning.
Concurrently, Xabi Alonso and co. cannot help but be concerned about Huijsen’s injury record, as he only returned from a previous ailment late last month in El Clásico.
Being injured again will raise concerns in Madrid, and Los Blancos will hope he is fit to play in the team’s first game after the break.
So far this season, the 20-year-old has made ten La Liga appearances and kept two clean sheets for the men in white.
He averages more than ten defensive actions and three recoveries every game.
