Real Madrid have reportedly rejected the idea of pursuing Manchester City star Bernardo Silva, who expressed a strong desire to come to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
According to AS, the Portuguese maestro is believed to be actively looking for a new challenge after City announced that his lengthy stay will come to an end this campaign.
One of the most prosperous periods in modern Premier League history comes to an end with the departure.
Silva departs England as one of Pep Guardiola’s most reliable and dependable players after nine years at City. He has won numerous Premier League titles, domestic trophies, and the Champions League while contributing significantly to City’s supremacy.
Silva Interested In Real Madrid Move
The midfielder’s desire to compete at the top level and his belief that he still possesses the physical and mental qualities needed to play for a top team attracted him to Real Madrid.
According to the report, the Portuguese explored the prospect of joining Los Blancos for the 2026–2027 campaign. Initial communication was made to find out if the Spanish giants would take the move into consideration.

However, Silva is not currently regarded as a part of Real Madrid’s future sporting ambitions, despite the club’s deep appreciation for his technical prowess and football acumen.
It’s interesting to note that during the past few years, the Portuguese midfielder has also been linked to Barcelona on multiple times.
According to reports, he was recently offered to Barça once more, but due to budgetary constraints and changing sporting priorities, no significant deal has taken place there either.
His agent Jorge Mendes, whose rapport with Real Madrid has improved dramatically in recent years, is notably one important player in these proposals.
