Barcelona Forward Still Missing In Training, Could Be Out For Girona Clash

Now that the second international break of the 2025–26 season is over, Barcelona will play their next game on Saturday in the Catalan derby against Girona.

Despite the fact that Fermin Lopez and Lamine Yamal are expected to return, Hansi Flick’s side are dealing with a number of injury concerns in the run-up to the game.

Ferran Torres returned with overload, but he should be okay for the weekend. Robert Lewandowski and Dani Olmo also returned from national team action with injuries and will be out for a few weeks.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Raphinha is still not back in training and is probably going to miss the match against Girona.

Additionally, it is quite unlikely that he will be available for the UEFA Champions League match against Olympiacos.

The 28-year-old forward has missed three games in all competitions since suffering a hamstring injury in the match against Real Oviedo in late September.

Originally, a three-week recovery period was reported. However, it is believed that the Brazil international experienced a setback in his recovery process which caused his return to action to be delayed.

Raphinha will not be available against Girona on Saturday since he has not yet started working out on the pitch, and it also appears doubtful that he will be available against Olympiacos.

The target for Flick and his side is to have their captain and star forward back in time for the season’s first El Clasico on October 26.
