PSG President Issues Intriguing Update To Address The Kylian Mbappe Saga

After months of rumors regarding the future of star player Kylian Mbappe, Paris Saint-Germain’s president has now provided an intriguing update.

According to Sky Sports and other outlets at the time, PSG had the 24-year-old player up for sale at one point, but it now appears that all has changed when he rejoined Luis Enrique’s team.

As previously reported by Fabrizio Romano for CaughtOffside, Mbappe and PSG are in contract negotiations. Now, club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has given a remarkably positive update on the player’s condition and the atmosphere at the club following his reunion with Enrique’s team.

“Mbappé is an incredible player and a fantastic person, I can confirm that. We have very good and positive relationship,” Al Khelaifi said.

It will be intriguing to see what happens next with Mbappe, but PSG fans may be starting to feel increasingly hopeful that the signs are pointing towards him staying and signing a new deal.

Mbappe is one of the very finest players in world football, so it would be a huge blow for the Ligue 1 giants to lose him.

However, it may well be that he’ll still be tempted to try his luck playing for Real Madrid or another more established historic giant of European football.
