When Manchester United takes on Liverpool on Sunday, Pep Guardiola has stated that he will be supporting his team.

Arsenal and Manchester City are engaged in a heated Premier League title fight with Jurgen Klopp’s team. With a 2-1 victory over Brighton last Sunday, the Reds are currently leading the way, while later in the day, City and Arsenal drew goallessly. Reported by Liverpool World.

The Gunners trail Liverpool by two points, and the defending champions City are behind by one more point. There’s not much room for error with nine matches to go. Tomorrow night at Anfield (19.30 BST), Klopp’s team takes on Sheffield United, a team in the cellar, before traveling to United on Sunday (15.30 BST).

Klopp’s side suffered a 4-3 loss at the hands of Erik ten Hag’s troops at Old Trafford in the  FA Cup quarter-finals only three weeks ago. And while City might be United’s rivals from the same postcode, Guardiola will be rooting for the Red Devils.

Guardiola, meanwhile, does not feel that way this time around, even though Klopp’s tenure at Anfield is coming to an end. “I don’t have an opinion now,” he continued.
