Manchester United And Borussia Dortmund Discussing Final Details On Jadon Sancho Deal

According to Sports Mole, Jadon Sancho, an attacker for Manchester United, is supposedly getting close to returning on loan to Borussia Dortmund.

The 23-year-old’s fallout with Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag began when the attacker was left out against Arsenal at the beginning of September, and as a result, he hasn’t played for his English club since the end of August.

Ten Hag claimed that Sancho’s absence from the Emirates Stadium was because of the England international’s subpar training performances. However, Sancho refuted this claim in a social media post, saying that his manager had used him as “a scapegoat”.

Sancho has not been a part of the club’s first team for some time, and it appears that he is getting ready to spend the second half of the season on loan back at Dortmund.

It was reported at the end of last week that the two clubs couldn’t agree on the specifics of the loan arrangement, which was why the deal had been delayed.

Hans-Joachim Watzke, the CEO of Dortmund, has since stated that negotiations are still going on with Man United, who acquired Sancho from the Bundesliga powerhouses in the summer of 2021.

The two clubs are in direct contact, and the deal is almost done, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Romano says that the last details are being worked out and that there won’t be a buy option in the agreement; it will be a strictly loan move.

Sancho’s situation will be evaluated over the summer, but it is believed that he is unwilling to give up on his Man United career entirely at this point.

Ten Hag’s status as the 20-time English champions’ head coach is still up for debate, so the attacker’s future at Old Trafford may rest on him.

Ten Hag is anticipated to be given at least the next few months to oversee a turnaround, but if the team keeps having trouble staying consistent, his future as head coach would be seriously called into question.

The Daily Mail claims that Dortmund is unwilling to pay Sancho his £290,000 weekly salary, and the German team is demanding that Man United contribute £100,000 per week instead.

In just 82 games for Man United since joining the English powerhouses from Dortmund, Sancho has only managed 12 goals and six assists.

Nevertheless, the Englishman was a standout player at BVB, amassing 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 games. Now, he will try to rekindle his career in a setting he is familiar with.
