Manchester United are prepared to take on clubs like Barcelona and Manchester City with Palmeiras teenage star Eduardo Conceicao in their sights.
Despite his young age, the 16-year-old has had a quick ascent and is now among the most sought-after players worldwide.
According to the Mirror, United are preparing a £34 million bid in an attempt to get ahead of the competition and acquire Conceicao.
They have started talks, but they are not the only team in contact with Palmeiras; both City and the Spanish powerhouses are vying for his services.

Barcelona are believed to have an advantage due to the influence of sports director Deco, who has had direct communication with Palmeiras’ academy coordinator as part of their strategy.
City and the Brazilian team have a good past together. Early in Pep Guardiola’s tenure, they had agreed to sign Gabriel Jesus. Last season, they had reached an agreement to sign defender Vitor Reis.
United Expected To Pull Signings With UCL Football
United may think that any prospective signings could be enticed by their recent success. Despite their apparent difficulties over the last ten years, the Red Devils continue to be a major draw for players and are expected to offer Champions League football.
Palmeiras themselves are holding out for a high fee in an effort to maximize their profits. The team hope to get at least £34 million, possibly more with add-ons.
According to the Daily Mail, they have already rejected an offer from Newcastle United worth £21.5 million plus bonuses of £12.9 million.
