Harry Kane is reportedly expected to play until he is nearly 40 years old, following in the footsteps of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Former Premier League star, Emile Heskey has highlighted why the Bayern Munich striker can play “for a good while longer” because he hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down both domestically and internationally.
Kane is England’s and Spurs’ all-time top scorer. In addition to gaining 110 caps bringing his record total for the Three Lions to 76 and counting, he scored 280 goals for the north London giants.
With another attempt at World Cup triumph scheduled for next summer, the 31-year-old seems poised to surpass Peter Shilton’s record of 125 appearances for England.

As he eclipses players like Bobby Moore, Bobby Charlton, David Beckham, and Wayne Rooney, it has been speculated that Kane may become the greatest player of all time with the Three Lions.
With 108 goals in 113 games for Bayern, Heskey believes Kane will continue to play for a number of seasons. He has won the Bundesliga title there and is eager for further real achievement.
Kane Inspired By Ronaldo And Messi
Speaking with GOAL, Heskey stated that Kane’s evident abilities continue to hold up against the greatest in the sport.
“I played until I was 32. You can see him going past that. You are looking at Ronaldo, changing the way that he plays, and he’s 39.
“That is similar to what Harry kind of does. [Alan] Shearer was another, even though you get older, even though there is a change of pace, a change of mobility, he will still score you goals.
“That’s the key thing. I can see him playing for the national team until 36, depending on the manager. And depending on who is behind you.”
