Jose Mourinho ‘The Special One’ Gets ‘Special’ Tattoo

Jose Mourinho has chosen to have a tattoo that ‘only he can have’ to honour all of the clubs for that he has won European titles.

Last season, Jose Mourinho won the Europa Conference League with AS Roma after a first-half goal from Nicolo Zaniolo.

Mourinho became the first coach to ever win all three UEFA competitions thanks to his narrow victory against Feyenoord at the Arena Kombetare.

Mourinho has an impressive record. ‘The Special One’ won the Europa League [2003] and the Champions League [2004] while at FC Porto.

After winning the Champions League with Inter Milan in 2010, he went on to win the Europa League with Man Utd in 2017 – an achievement he called the “most important” of his coaching career.

Mourinho has made a decision to get a ‘Special’ tattoo of his achievements to honour his European haul.

The former manager of Man Utd and Chelsea speaks candidly about his choice to be tattooed.

He wrote alongside the tattoo design: “This is my tattoo. I did it because it made the Roman populace happy. Then I had an idea for something exceptional, something that would honor all of the clubs where I had won European competitions.

“At the same time, I wanted a unique tattoo, one that, so far, I am the only one who can have it…

“Alberto showed me some proposals, I just changed a few details. Here is my tattoo.”

Mourinho revealed the “secret” tattooed on his arm in a video posted to his official Instagram page last week. Here is the second part of my secret, he said. “I will show you in a few more days.”

Mourinho has accomplished a lot in his 22-year coaching career.

However, bringing Manchester United to second place in the Premier League was one of his career highlights because no one knew what was going on behind the scenes.

“If I tell you, for example, that I consider one of the best jobs of my career was to finish second with Man United in the Premier League, you will say, ‘this guy is crazy,'” Mourinho said.

“‘He won 25 titles and he is saying that a second position was one of his best achievements?'”

“I keep saying this because people don’t know what is going on behind the scenes. And sometimes we, in this side of the cameras, analyse things with a different perspective.”
