Alexis Sanchez’s contract with Inter has been terminated by mutual agreement. The 33-year-old made 109 appearances across all competitions for the club after moving to Inter from Manchester United in 2019 and managed to score 20 goals.
In the 2020–21 season, Sanchez helped Inter in claiming the Scudetto. He also won the Supercoppa Italiana and Coppa Italia last year.
The Chilean international only earned seven Serie A starts in the 2021–22 season due to his decline in the squad’s priority list under Simeone Inzaghi.

Sanchez took to Instagram to reflect on his time at Inter and praised the team and its supporters.
“Here I leave three trophies after 11 years. Thank you and good luck, see you soon,” he posted.
Additionally, Inter released a statement wishing the seasoned striker success as he moves on to the next phase of his career.
According to Inter, “FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that an agreement has been reached to terminate Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez’s contract by mutual consent,
“The Club would like to wholeheartedly thank Alexis for these last three seasons, in which the Nerazzurri won three major honours, and we wish him all the best for his future career.”

Where Next For Sanchez?
Sanchez, who has previously played for Arsenal in the Premier League, is apparently getting ready to fly to France and sign for Marseille on a free transfer.
Report says he would sign a two-year contract with Stade Velodrome, where he will team up with Nuno Tavares and Matteo Guendouzi, two additional ex-Arsenal players, and Sead Kolasinac.

With 80 goals and 45 assists in 166 games while also winning two FA Cups, Sanchez achieved cult status at Arsenal. He did, however, leave on a somewhat sour note, as he forced a move to United in January 2018.
