Jack Grealish is reportedly set to miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on a stress fracture.
Grealish has been on loan from Manchester City to Everton, where he has won over Toffees supporters and earned game time in the Premier League that he did not have when sitting on the bench at the Etihad.
However, he has acknowledged that he will miss the rest of the season due to surgery on his left foot. Last month, Grealish suffered a stress fracture while Everton defeated Aston Villa 1-0.
He has little chance of being included in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for the World Cup this summer as the operation is confirmed.

According to National World, the 30-year-old gave the thumbs-up in an Instagram photo taken while in his hospital bed.
He wrote: “Didn’t want the season to end like this but that’s football, gutted.
“Surgery done and now all focus on getting back fit. I know for sure I will come back fitter, stronger and better than before.”
England players Mason Mount and Harry Maguire of Manchester United, Burnley’s Harry Maguire, and Curtis Jones of Liverpool were among the players, who posted condolences and well wishes in the comments section as well as boxer Tony Bellew.
