Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has sent his most stern warning to Manchester United over Jadon Sancho.
The club’s sporting director, Michael Zorc, stated this week that Sancho would stay this season after United failed to agree a deal before their August 10 deadline.
Reports in England have claimed United have not given up on completing a deal, but Watzke has said categorically that the England international will not leave.
“We are Westphalians,” said Watzke in an interview with RTL.
“We agreed on this rule, which Zorc explained on Monday. For a Westphalian, definite means definite. Jadon will play with us for the 2020-21 season. There is no room for interpretation.”
