Chelsea have reportedly confirmed the decision to part ways with Liam Rosenior after just four months in charge of the Blues.
The 42-year-old led Chelsea to one of their worst periods where they lost each of their last five league games without scoring a goal.
Calum McFarlane, who will serve as temporary head coach until the end of the season, will guide the club into Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final at Wembley against Leeds. McFarlane filled in for two games when Enzo Maresca left earlier this season.

With a game ahead, Rosenior puts Chelsea in seventh position in the Premier League, seven points behind fifth-place Liverpool.
By the time Rosenior succeeded interim manager McFarlane, Chelsea had fallen to eighth place after Maresca departed in fifth.
According to Sky Sports News, rumors that Chelsea will have to pay Rosenior a significant compensation fee are untrue. It is acknowledged that Rosenior’s contract contained a break clause.
