Casemiro Tells Man United Not To Sell Cristiano Ronaldo

Despite rumors tying Ronaldo away from Old Trafford, new Manchester United signing Casemiro has stated he does not want Ronaldo to leave this summer.

The pair spent four years together at the Real Madrid before Ronaldo left the club in a shocking move to join Juventus.

Early in the summer, Ronaldo requested to leave Old Trafford and watched on from the sidelines as Manchester United defeated Liverpool 2-1. The superstar’s future is still unclear as the deadline draws near.

What Did Casemiro Say?

Speaking to ESPN Brasil,  Casemiro said: “We are talking about one of the best players of all time. He knows that I respect him a lot.

“I hope he stays with us because he is a great player. He gives you a lot of goals, he is a winner, he is a leader. He is so important for us.

“We approached each other because of the language, too. Since my first day here, he has helped me with everything. He is helping me a lot. I really hope he stays with us.”

Casemiro will now be looking forward to United’s next game as he is slated to have his debut. Man United are due to face Southampton on August 27.
