Gavi the FC Barcelona midfielder is going through a terrible moment. The Spaniard has been unable to play for some weeks due to a physical ailment that initially did not appear to be serious, but is now expected to keep him out of action for 4-5 months following surgery.
The midfielder is still in the hospital following his surgery, but as Mundo Deportivo reports, Gavi is positive about the future despite the sad turn of events.
The Spaniard was visited by his teammates Pedri, Ronald Araujo, and Lamine Yamal in the hospital, and he later turned to social media to share a photo of himself lying on the bed, accompanied by these teammates. This photograph was accompanied with the following message:
“Those of you who know me understand that I will return as many times as necessary to defend Barça and my people till the end.

It is encouraging to see Gavi remain upbeat despite such a devastating experience. Hopefully, he will get the necessary rest and then begin working on his recuperation so that he can return to action as soon as possible and help Barcelona win more trophies this season.
