Marc Casado’s future has recently become a topic of discussion at Barcelona, particularly following reports linking him with a move to Arsenal.
However, it looks that Arsenal are not the only team interested in signing the talented Barcelona midfielder, who is coming off a breakout season.
According to a recent Diario SPORT story, both Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are interested in Casado’s services this summer.
Barcelona does not rule out an exit
According to the source, Casado’s status at Barcelona is extremely fragile, and the club has not totally ruled out a possible leave.
This is despite the fact that Casado is a fan favourite owing to his dedication and determination over the last year or so.

Although Casado is an important part of Barcelona’s midfield, it should be noted that his influence has faded since the beginning of the year, with Frenkie de Jong resuming his role in the center of the park.
Barcelona also believes that there isn’t room for everyone on the club, and if a suitable offer comes in, Casado should be allowed to depart.
According to the report, the Catalans may contemplate selling the talented midfielder if Chelsea or any interested party offers more than €30 million.
Casado, for his part, wants to stay and battle for his spot at Barcelona, having just extended his contract until 2028, which includes a €100 million release clause.
However, as the club continues to experience financial difficulties, the youngster could become one of the unlikely victims.
