Arsenal Eyeing Real Madrid Star After Liverpool, Man Utd Bids Are Rejected

According to sources, Arsenal has made an offer to move Rodrygo from Real Madrid to the Premier League during the summer transfer season.

Despite dropping two points behind leaders Liverpool after a scoreless draw with title contenders Manchester City, the Gunners are enjoying a successful season in the Premier League.

In the summer, will Arsenal still require a new forward?

Arsenal has advanced to new heights over the past two seasons thanks to the addition of Mikel Arteta and their recruitment of Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarterfinals.

Following their summer acquisitions of David Raya, Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber, and Kai Havertz.

With Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah as their primary striker options, analysts and former players predicted that Arsenal would have difficulty winning the Premier League title prior to the new year.

However, Arsenal have been one of the top scorers in the Premier League in the new year and their desperate need for a top centre-forward has slightly diminished.

Given that Nketiah is reportedly considering a summer move away from the Emirates Stadium, it’s still conceivable that the Gunners will make an investment in that part of their squad.

Furthermore, Real Madrid forward Rodrygo reportedly received a “new offer” from Arsenal to leave the Bernabeu, according to Spanish newspaper Nacional.

Arsenal is hoping to sign “one or more” attacking players in the upcoming transfer window, and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is “totally willing to sit down and negotiate” his sale “if a good offer arrives.”

“We are fully aware that signing Rodrygo won’t exactly be cheap,”  Perez stated that he “never intends to accept offers lower than” €90 million this summer.

However, according to a Fichajes report, the Brazil international “has rejected” bids from Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool to leave Real Madrid in the summer.
