Arsenal Eyeing Jakub Kiwior For Summer Serie A Move

Jakub Kiwior, an Arsenal defender, is anticipated to attract interest from Italian teams this summer, most notably AC Milan, according to The Standard.

Kiwior was reportedly viewed by many Serie A teams in January, including Milan; nevertheless, the management has recently granted the defender permission to quit the team.

After their recent string of defensive injuries, the Gunners did not want to be badly shorthanded for the second half of the season.

halftime on Sunday’s 3-1 triumph over Liverpool, Kiwior entered the game off the bench. Oleksandr Zinchenko’s bad form has forced him to play more frequently lately.

Mikel Arteta frequently uses the center back as a left back since Gabriel and William Saliba are seen as invincible in central defense.

Milan and other Italian teams are expected to revive their interest in Kiwior come summertime, hoping to see whether Arsenal may be convinced to sell or loan the Poland international.

Sevilla looked at Kiwior last summer. It remains to be seen if the Spanish club will return for him.

Jorrel Hato, a young Ajax youngster who can play center back or left, is being eyed by Arsenal as a possible summer acquisition, much like Kiwior.

Kiwior moved to Arsenal from Spezia last year in a deal that could end up costing £21 million. He agreed to a contract with a 12-month option that expires in 2027.

In order to defeat Manchester City in the Premier League, Arteta is looking to add players to the midfield and attack in the summer. He is also considering defensive reinforcement.
