Arne Slot has confirmed that Kostas Tsimikas will join the Liverpool team when he returns from a loan spell at Roma at the end of this season. The Premier League winners sanctioned his departure late in last summer’s transfer window, after signing Milos Kerkez, Reported by Express News.
However, with Andy Robertson’s departure, a space in Liverpool has become available, and Tsimikas is anticipated to resume his role as back-up left-back when he returns from Roma. Speaking before of the weekend’s match against Everton, the Dutchman stated: “Last year, we made a lot of acquisitions, which is why we traded so much. The net outlay across four windows was £150 million. That explains what type of club we are.We know we’re changing at least two players, but Kostas will return.”

“At the present, there’s no prospect of many players departing. Of course, there’s Konate’s contract problem; there may not be a need to train as much if you don’t need to bring in a lot of guys.”
Hugo Ekitike sustained a horrific injury during Liverpool’s Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, and the Frenchman is expected to be out for up to nine months. It puts pressure on Alexander Isak, who, like Ekitike, arrived at Liverpool in the summer but has had a difficult start due to injuries.
On the Swede, Slot commented, “It’s a good thing we signed two number nines.” Many people were wondering why we signed two, but now it appears to be a good idea, and others are suggesting we sign another in the summer.”
