Franco Mastantuono is reportedly set for his first start as a Real Madrid player against Real Oviedo after coming off the bench to make his debut in Los Blancos’ 1-0 win over CA Osasuna.
The 18-year-old star made sure to dazzle the fans with an excellent display of his abilities even though he did not have much time on the field.
Now according to AS as reported by Madrid Universal, manager Alonso intends to give Mastantuono his first start when Real Madrid play Real Oviedo later this weekend.
In an attempt to win another game, the Spanish giants will go to Estadio Carlos Tartiere on Sunday night to play the newly promoted La Liga team.

Alonso Set To Play Mastantuono On The Right Wing
Additionally, the report states that Alonso intends to start Mastantuono on the right wing against Oviedo that evening.
It might result in Brahim Diaz, who started on the right side against Osasuna in the first game, losing his place in the starting lineup.
Mastantuono, meanwhile, has a fantastic chance to get his Madrid career off to a spectacular start.
The 18-year-old wonderkid was anticipated to play a significant part in Alonso’s ambitions as he was brought in for a total fee exceeding €63 million.
There was a chance, though, that he would be eased into action given that he had only begun training with the rest of the group last week.
However, the manager has chosen to throw him into the deep end for this week’s matchup with Real Oviedo.
