France forward, Ousmane Dembele has shockingly reduced his incredible international hat-trick against Norway, arguing that his previous group-stage performances were much more significant.
Despite making history with a lightning-fast treble to help Les Bleus clinch first place in Group I, the current Ballon d’Or winner continued to be critical of his overall performance.
Dembele delivered a masterclass by scoring the second-fastest hat-trick in World Cup history during France’s 4-1 victory over Norway.
Les Bleus won Group I thanks to the winger’s three goals in the first 32 minutes, matching goalscoring records not seen since 1954.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward surprisingly rejected media acclaim despite his unrelenting clinical effectiveness against a heavily rotated Norwegian team. He instantly requested complete squad commitment as the tournament moves into the knockout stages.
Dembele Urges His Teammates To Be More United
The French attacker emphasised squad unity and communication when speaking on the comprehensive victory, while remaining focused about his individual goalscoring exploits.
Dembele told M6: “It was an important match to finish top of the group. We want to win every game, and we are going to stay focused because what lies ahead is going to be even more difficult.
“There are quality players on the pitch, and even on the bench. And with communication, it makes things easier. We understand each other better, so that’s good; we need to keep it up.”
