Borussia Dortmund will be Arsenal’s opponent in the Emirates Cup this summer.
The Bundesliga team have been in contact with the Premier League champions to arrange a match, as disclosed by Football London.
The two teams will now play at Emirates Stadium on Sunday, August 9, with a kickoff at 2:00 PM. It is anticipated that a meeting with Como 1907 will take place at the Gunners’ home stadium during the preseason. Though this is said to still be awaiting for confirmation on Wednesday, August 12.
Club CEO Richard Garlick said: “We’re delighted to host the Emirates Cup once again and welcome our supporters back home to Emirates Stadium as we continue our preparations for the season ahead.
