Liverpool have reportedly rekindled their interest in Juventus star Khephren Thuram as the Reds get ready to lose at least one midfield player this summer.
The Reds have started the new Andoni Iraola era with a bang by thwarting Newcastle’s attempt to sign Spanish winger Victor Munoz but they still have a lot of work ahead of them.
RB Leipzig winger, Yan Diomande is still Liverpool’s top target, and Bradley Barcola of PSG is being considered as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.
But changes are also coming in midfield following question marks over Alexis MacAllister and Curtis Jones’ futures at Anfield.
Liverpool Among Clubs Interested In Thuram
According to Corriere dello Sport as cited by TEAMtalk, Liverpool are one of several teams “interested” in Thuram, with Juventus willing to sell the French player this summer.
Thuram moved from Nice to Juventus for a reported fee of £17.3 million in the summer of 2024. At the time, he was strongly linked with a move to Liverpool, but the Turin team prevailed in the end.

Since then, the defensive midfielder has grown to be one of Juventus’ most valuable players. He made 45 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
Juventus must “balance their books by June 30 and require a capital gain of around £10-11 million,” according to the report so selling Thuram will help them to balance their books.
Thuram is seen as one of Juve’s ‘most sellable assets’ and the Old Lady are said to be open to offers of around £30million.
