The Egyptian forward helped Liverpool win multiple major honours, including the Premier League and Champions League titles.

Replacing Salah’s attacking output is viewed as one of the club’s biggest challenges heading into the next transfer window.

While Yan Diomande has emerged as a reported target, Klopp’s previous comments suggest Bowen could also fit Liverpool’s system perfectly.

Klopp and Owen Full of Praise for Bowen

Klopp previously described Bowen as his “favourite player besides my players” during the winger’s impressive performances for West Ham United.

The former Liverpool boss also praised Bowen’s development since rising through the ranks from Hull City to the Premier League.

Ex-Liverpool striker Michael Owen has also backed Bowen as an ideal replacement for Salah, reports The Standard.

Owen highlighted the winger’s finishing ability, pace and versatility after working closely with him during a television feature.

Bowen has continued to establish himself as one of the Premier League’s most consistent attacking players in recent seasons.

Liverpool are expected to strengthen their attack significantly this summer as Arne Slot prepares for a new era following Salah’s expected departure.
