Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in three Chelsea players this summer.
The German champions have been connected with signing right-back Malo Gusto, versatile defender Renato Veiga, and striker Christopher Nkunku.
Chelsea needs to cut their bloated squad, and Enzo Maresca would be pleased to shed players who aren’t in his plans.
Veiga is one such player, but the Blues have managed to clinch an intriguing transfer that benefits all parties involved.
Earlier this month, Fabrizio Romano claimed Veiga could quit Stamford Bridge permanently.

The 21-year-old moved to Chelsea from FC Basel in the summer of 2024. He was loaned to Juventus last season, and the Blues are likely to offload him.
The versatile defender does not appear to be a priority in Enzo Maresca’s plans.
Bayern are apparently considering Veiga for the center-back position, but they must first trade Kim Min-jae.
According to TuttoMercato, Min-jae could be leaving the Allianz Arena, with Chelsea interested in signing him.
Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid have also expressed interest in the centre-back, but Chelsea has proposed a swap deal that would see Veiga move in the opposite direction.
The swap deal is ideal for both clubs.
Min-jae is among the players that could be sold by Bayern this summer. Despite numerous appearances last season, he failed to make an impact under Vincent Kompany.
The 28-year-old was entirely overlooked by Kompany at the Club World Cup, and he is expected to tumble lower down the pecking order with the signing of Jonathan Tah.
If Min-jae joins Chelsea, he will be eligible to play in the Champions League next season. The agreement, in theory, should benefit all parties involved.
