Barcelona attacking pair, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha both created history on Wednesday night’s thrilling Champions League tie with Inter Milan.
With the two European giants serving up a Champions League classic, the semi-final matchup is tightly poised ahead of the second leg at San Siro next week after a high-scoring draw in Catalonia.
According to Sports Mole, at the age of 17 years and 291 days, Yamal became the youngest player to score in a Champions League semi-final when he replied for Barcelona after Inter had scored twice without a response.
The young sensation surpassed Kylian Mbappe, who set the record in 2017 when he scored for Paris Saint-Germain at the age of 18 years and 140 days.

On Wednesday, Raphinha made even more history by setting up Ferran Torres to make it 2-2, marking his 20th goal contribution in the competition.
Raphinha’s attempt that hit the crossbar before striking Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer’s back and ended up in the back of the net earned him another assist.
The Brazilian is now ahead of Lionel Messi for the most goals in a Champions League season for Barcelona, with 12 goals and 9 assists in 13 Champions League games this season.
Ahead of the second leg against Inter next week, Raphinha is attempting to make a remarkable history as he is now tied with Cristiano Ronaldo, who contributed 21 goals for Real Madrid in 2013–14.
Barcelona boss Hansi Flick hailed Yamal’s ability to influence big matches when asked about the forward after the contest.
“He showed us the way because making it 2-1 was really important. He’s a fantastic player and you see his quality in big games. It’s great to have him here,” said the German.
