Real Madrid won their third UEFA Champions League game in a row, thanks to Jude Bellingham’s first-half goal, as they defeated Juventus 1-0 at home.
Xabi Alonso’s side enters their Saturday El Clasico match against Barcelona full of confidence, having only lost once in all competitions this season.
The return of Bellingham has been critical for Alonso in recent weeks, with the England international now fully recovered after summer surgery on a long-standing shoulder ailment.
Alonso gave the 22-year-old consecutive starts for the first time this season, after completing 86 minutes in the 1-0 weekend win over Getafe, and he played the entire match against Igor Tudor’s side.
That is another significant step forward for Bellingham as he seeks to regain his top level following two outstanding seasons in Madrid.

Alonso was full of praise for the former Borussia Dortmund player, claiming he is back to his world-class form.
“Aside from the goal, he played a very complete game, and I really liked him at Getafe.” According to Marca, he has the ability to be near to the box and contribute to the creation of opportunities.
“He’s one of the most complete players in the world, and we should appreciate him. “I want him to feel important, and the way he reads the game demonstrates how much we need him.”
The next call for Alonso will be to start Bellingham against Barcelona, as his No. 5 looks to continue his record of three goals against the Catalans.
Thomas Tuchel chose not to call up Bellingham for England duty in either the September or October camps, as the Three Lions cruised to 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying.
