Gary Neville suggested that Bukayo Saka should play on the left to make room for Noni Madueke, however Ian Wright quickly dismissed this idea.
The former Chelsea winger started on the right in each of England’s World Cup qualifying matches this month due to Bukayo Saka being sidelined through a hamstring injury.
During the international break, Madueke, who Arsenal acquired from Chelsea for £52 million in the summer, attracted attention by leading the Three Lions to victories over Serbia and Andorra.
After forcing Christian García González of Andorra to concede an own goal at Villa Park, the 23-year-old scored against Serbia at the Rajko Mitić Stadium a few days later.

After impressing, Neville recommended that whenever Saka gets back from injury, Mikel Arteta should try to move him to the other flank.
Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, and Eberechi Eze will have the opportunity to compete for a position on the left as Madueke appears to be expected to take the Hale End graduate’s place.
What Did Neville And Wright Say About Saka And Madueke?
According to Football London, while speaking on the Stick To Football podcast, the Manchester United legend said: “He’s obviously a lot better on the right and that was clear when Saka went off the other week. Could Saka play on the left?
“Martinelli’s struggling a little bit on that left-hand side, could Saka go back on the left and leave Madueke where he is? You can see quite clearly Madueke looks a hell of a player on that right-hand side.
Wright quickly shut down the suggestion. The Arsenal legend replied: “Don’t ask me about Saka playing on the left, I’m not even commenting on that.
“With everything that Saka has done up to this point on the right, you’d move Saka on the left and move Madueke on the right?”
