‘World-Class’ Arsenal Star Might Leave In A ‘Bombshell’ Exit After Mikel Arteta Feud

According to reports, Arsenal founder Martin Odegaard could return to Real Madrid after a ‘falling out’ with Mikel Arteta, ensuring his future away from the Emirates Stadium.

With with 14 games remaining, the Spanish manager has Arsenal six points ahead in the Premier League title battle, giving them their best chance of winning the crown in over two decades. However, varied paths to success have had less noticeable effects elsewhere on the pitch, particularly in skipper Odegaard’s eyes.

With that in mind, it has been reported that Odegaard and Arteta have fought, with the Norwegian star perhaps returning to the Spanish city.

According to the publication, Arteta and Odegaard’s relationship has reached a breaking point, indicating a precarious situation that could lead to his ‘bombshell’ departure from the Emirates Stadium.

Relations have gradually deteriorated, with disagreements over dressing room management, Odegaard’s role in the team, and tactical decisions hurting their relationship.

Arsenal are aware that keeping hold of a disgruntled Odegaard will only be detrimental to their Premier League hopes, and so a move could be on the cards.

At just 27 years of age, he remains one of the best creative midfielders in football, and his exit from the Gunners has sparked interest from huge clubs, including Real Madrid. The Spanish side have not forgotten Odegaard, who they signed in 2015 after he broke into the Norwegian top-flight with ease at just 16.

A move is seemingly beginning to ‘generate excitement’ amongst fans, who see him as a mature midfielder ready to step into their creative ranks.
