Controversial former Crystal Palace owner, John Textor has reportedly made a £400 million move to buy Wolves in the midst of mounting dissatisfaction among Wolves supporters with the present Molineux owners.
As of now, Wolves are the only team in the Premier League—as well as the top six English football divisions—that haven’t won a league game this season.
The Wolves are six points outside of safety at the bottom of the league standings after losing to Burnley in injury time on Sunday.
Following the final whistle, home fans were heard yelling “You’re getting sacked in the morning” at head coach Vitor Pereira and expressing their displeasure with Fosun, the club’s owners since 2016.

The Athletic claims that Textor is keen to include the Midlands club in his multi-club group portfolio after selling a minority interest in Crystal Palace earlier this year. According to reports, he has offered to buy the club for £150 million in cash and an extra £262.6 million in shares.
At the moment, Textor owns shares in Belgium’s RWDM Brussels, France’s Lyon, and Brazil’s Botafogo. According to reports, the American billionaire embraces Wolves’ long-standing practice of signing Portuguese players, which is consistent with the Eagle Football Group’s (EFG) approach of bringing South American talent to the European market.
Despite these changes, sources in Wolves insist that the club are looking for external funding rather than for sale.
