Chelsea have profited from VAR blunders more than any other Premier League team this season.
BBC Sport as reported by The Evening Standard released the statistics from the Premier League’s Key Match Incidents (KMI) Panel, which convenes weekly to evaluate refereeing decisions.
There have been 13 VAR-related errors at the midway point of the season, compared to 10 at this point last season.
Of those errors, two are incorrect interventions and 11 are missed interventions where the referee ought to have been advised to reconsider his decision.
Chelsea benefited from three of those 13 mistakes.

Josh King’s goal for Fulham was disallowed at Stamford Bridge due to what was considered to be a foul on Trevoh Chalobah by Rodrigo Muniz.
In retrospect, the panel stated that the goal should have stood since “contact is normal.”
Also, there ought to have been a VAR intervention as it was determined that Malo Gusto raised a foot and made contact with Yankuba Minteh’s head during Chelsea’s loss to Brighton.
Chelsea’s third incident occurred during their tie with Brighton. According to the decision, VAR ought to have stepped in and given a penalty against Gusto for handball.
Arsenal Also Benefitted From VAR Blunders
The panel said that Arsenal were lucky to avoid conceding a penalty against Everton last month. It was believed that a VAR intervention ought to have followed William Saliba’s challenge on Thierno Barry.
This season, the number of interventions has decreased by 17.54 percent, from 57 to 47.
Additionally, the panel discovered that 15 on-field errors did not qualify for a VAR intervention.
