England manager Thomas Tuchel criticised home supporters after his side’s 3-0 friendly victory over Wales at Wembley on Thursday night.
England started brilliantly, with Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins, and Bukayo Saka all scoring inside the opening 20 minutes to thrill the sell-out crowd.

Despite the dominant display, Tuchel was frustrated by what he described as a lack of energy and noise from the stands.
“We were 3-0 up very quickly, could’ve been four or five, but the stadium was silent,” Tuchel complained post-match.
Tuchel Calls for Louder Support
The German boss noted that Wales’ 7,000 travelling supporters out-sang the home fans, even though their team was being outclassed.
“If you only hear Wales fans for half an hour, it’s a bit sad,” Tuchel said. “The team deserved big support today.”
Tuchel, who was booed by England fans after June’s loss to Senegal, admitted he expected a stronger reaction from supporters.
He later clarified that his comments were not meant as an attack on English fans but as an honest observation, reports Japan Times.
“I love English football and its fans,” he said. “But today’s atmosphere didn’t match the performance on the field.”
Eyes on World Cup Qualification
England, unbeaten under Tuchel in World Cup qualifying, can seal progression with a win over Latvia on Tuesday.
Despite missing stars like Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham, Tuchel praised his squad’s teamwork and fast start against Wales.
