Tottenham fired head coach Thomas Frank after only eight months in charge and an eight-game winless streak in domestic competitions.
Spurs suffered another home setback on Tuesday night, falling 2-1 to Newcastle, with fans once again chanting “you’re getting sacked in the morning” at their boss, Reported By Independent News.
Such a nasty attitude was witnessed during January’s home defeat of London rivals West Ham, another struggling team, and frustration has intensified as a result of dropped points against relegation-threatened Burnley and Saturday’s defeat to Manchester United.

While an outstanding Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund appeared to provide Frank with a reprieve in January, followed by a victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in the same competition, the loss to Manchester United proved to be the final nail in Frank’s coffin.
The 52-year-old signed a three-year contract when he replaced Ange Postecoglou at the end of last season, following his impressive seven-year-spell at Brentford. He departs with Spurs six points off the Premier League’s relegation zone and out of the domestic cups.
