Tottenham Hotspur hired Thomas Frank as manager on Thursday, after the 51-year-old Danish left Brentford, where he had spent nearly a decade.
Frank will succeed Ange Postecoglou, who was fired last week despite leading Tottenham to their first title in 17 years with a victory over Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League final.
Frank’s deal with Tottenham is up until 2028, according to the club.
“In Thomas, we have appointed one of the most progressive and innovative head coaches in the game,” the club stated in a statement. “He has a proven track record in player and squad development and we look forward to him leading the team as we prepare for the season ahead.”
Frank joined Brentford in December 2016 and has been Manager since 2018. He has built a reputation as a tactically versatile and astute manager who has developed players, particularly those with a low profile or who have underperformed at other clubs. According To News cgtn.
He will manage a higher-quality side at Tottenham, albeit one that finished lower than Brentford in the Premier League last season, and will be involved in the UEFA Champions League for the first time. One of his first games will be in the UEFA Super Cup versus Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain.

In that sense, Spurs are taking a small risk. Frank has never won a trophy during his managerial career.
However, with Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho in charge since 2019, even managers with elite-level credentials have struggled to lead Tottenham to victory, and Frank, at the very least, has Premier League experience.
