The Football Association (FA) have reportedly suspended Chelsea ace, Mykhailo Mudryk after testing positive for a banned substance.
According to The Sun as reported by CaughtOffside, Mudryk took meldonium, which has been outlawed by the World Anti-Doping Agency since 2016, back in October. He has since been notified of the results of his A-sample.
Mudryk may face a four-year ban from the game if a B-sample also reveals evidence of the drug.
And now, the Football Association have placed him on a provisional suspension.

Enzo Maresca was already concerned about one Chelsea player, and the manager isn’t known for altering his mind, but this recent news has made his issues worse.
Mudryk has been an essential part of Chelsea’s Conference League team. Even if he hasn’t been a consistent Premier League starter under the Italian—with just 146 minutes under his belt
As a result, everyone involved will be affected by this news, and their only option at this time is to wait for the next phase of the procedure.
If Mudryk is found guilty, a substantial penalty is certain to follow. Even if it is lowered on appeal, it would not be shocking if this marked the end of his Blues career.
Chelsea are set for a UEFA Conference League clash against Shamrock Rovers at Stamford Bridge on Thursday.
