The mental strain of Real Madrid’s preparations for their next La Liga match against Levante is already beginning to show.
This is because, as Madrid prepare for the match at the Santiago Bernabeu, a report from MARCA claims that the side is still dealing with a lengthy list of players who are unavailable.
According to the publication, Alvaro Arbeloa, the interim coach, oversaw his third training session this week while a number of important players were absent.
Rodrygo, Antonio Rudiger, Andriy Lunin, Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy, and Trent Alexander-Arnold were among those who missed group training.

Brahim Diaz, who is currently abroad on duty at the Africa Cup of Nations, is another noteworthy absence.
The coaching staff is forced to rely on rotation and youth reinforcements due to his absence, which further restricts attacking options.
More To The Story
However, there was some good news; Kylian Mbappe joined the session. Expectations are still cautious, though, despite his appearance on the pitch.
The French forward is not yet deemed totally fit after suffering a knee sprain at the end of last year.
Mbappe is currently not anticipated to play against Levante since Madrid are eager to avoid taking any needless chances.
Raul Asencio was another topic of interest during the training session. Following a broken and deviated septum, the defender trained while donning a protective mask.
